Hampton Roads

At VSH, we believe that homelessness is a problem that affects everybody in the community, and community volunteers can and should be a part of the solution! Through their activities, VSH volunteers in Hampton Roads engage in mission-critical services that support our very low-income, formerly homeless residents in their efforts to stabilize and reinforce their connections to a caring community.

Volunteer Opportunities

General Volunteer Orientation

Nothing is more rewarding than offering some hands-on help in your community! Come to one of our general volunteer orientations to see what opportunities Virginia Supportive Housing has coming up in the next few weeks! No matter your skill set, we’ll find something for you! Whether its teaching a course to our clients, helping serve food, plan a monthly birthday party or work on a property beautification project, there is something for everyone…all you need is to WANT to help!

We are revising our orientation procedure and will be able to accept new individual volunteers in the future. In the coming weeks, reach out to Jonathan Etheridge for any updates on our intake process: [email protected].
