VSH has been providing permanent housing and supportive services in Virginia for more than 25 years. The Crossings at Fourth and Preston, an award-winning apartment community that opened in 2012, represents VSH’s expansion of permanent supportive housing to the Charlottesville region. The Crossings has since helped improve the lives of our residents as well as the Greater Charlottesville region. Our Housing-First model understands that providing immediate access to stable housing is key to ending homelessness. Once the chaos of homelessness is eliminated, the likelihood that individuals remain off the streets and improve their lives increases exponentially.
We remain committed to serving the Charlottesville region and are grateful for the progress that has been made to end chronic homelessness in the region. We also look forward to continuing to collaborate and coordinate services for persons experiencing homelessness in the region. Thank you for your support of our mission.
