On December 16, 2021, Better Housing Coalition and Virginia Supportive Housing announced they will be merging to to serve clients across the housing spectrum.

Phase One of the redevelopment project at Premier Circle in Albemarle County into housing for the homeless is ongoing. Phase One included the purchase of the Red Carpet Inn and the continuing renovation of the motel rooms into rooms of emergency shelter for homeless individuals by PACEM and TJACH.
