Our Commitment to Clients and Staff: COVID-19 Response
During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, our priority at VSH is ensuring that our clients continue to receive the services they need without interruption in a way that keeps them and their providers safe. To that end, we have taken the following precautions to protect our clients, staff, and community partners:
- Virginia Supportive Housing’s main office on Discovery Drive in Richmond is closed until further notice. All upcoming meetings scheduled to take place at the VSH office or one of our apartment communities will be postponed or moved online.
- Essential VSH staff continue to work in our apartment communities. Our residents have been encouraged to limit visitors to essential persons only, such as home health aides.
- Volunteer activities have been suspended until further notice, and the community rooms in our buildings have been closed.
- To practice social distancing, a majority of VSH staff are continuing their work remotely and remain accessible by email and phone.
We are committed to serving our clients while adhering to the guidelines advised by the Center for Disease Control and the Commonwealth of Virginia. As the situation and official recommendations may evolve over the coming weeks, we will work to ensure that our protocols remain aligned with best practices for client and staff protection.
