Virginia Supportive Housing joined forces with Art on Wheels this summer to bring Find Art Doors to Richmond. Doors upcycled from a VSH property for the formerly homeless were transformed by community groups and local artists alike into beautiful works of art. The 40+ doors became one of the biggest public art installations in Richmond since the “Go Fish” campaign in the early 2000’s. From public parks to favorite landmarks, the doors encouraged folks to get outside and discover art while rediscovering Richmond—all in support of these two wonderful nonprofit organizations.

At the end of the campaign, the doors were sold at a culminating celebration and auction event, with all proceeds benefiting Art on Wheels, Virginia Supportive Housing and most importantly, all of their clients. We are so grateful to all of the sponsors, volunteers, donors and supporters of the Find Art Doors campaign, and hope that this poster will serve as a treasured memento for years to come.
