For twenty years, Anne was unable to obtain permanent housing due to mental illness, substance abuse and limited income. She began receiving daily services from A Place to Start (APTS), VSH's new "housing first" program. She now maintains an apartment and is continuing her journey of recovery.

VHDA Home Buyer Education Workshop

For people ready to purchase in six months or less, please come out and participate in our Homebuyers Workshop.

All workshops will be held at the Fan Free Clinic 1010 N. Thompson Street Richmond, VA, 23230 from 9am to 3pm.  Please contact Salathia Johnson at 836-1054 to register. All workshop materials, a light continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
