Due to his paranoia, Jeff was homeless for 4 years. He would stay in a shelter or find a
secluded spot to sleep, preferably a car. During the day Jeff would look for odd jobs to
earn some extra cash. After participating in the A Place To Start (APTS), Jeff is now
housed permanently in his own apartment.

- Donate funds (online, check, credit, stock, bequests, planned gifts) to Virginia Supportive Housing (VSH) so that we may better serve the needs of Virginia's homeless and very low-income residents.
- Take advantage of workplace giving by designating your gift to VSH through the United Way and other federated workplace campaigns.
- Double your gift through your employer's matching gift program.
- Talk to your attorney or financial planner about the tax benefits of donating appreciated stock and planned gifts.
