"Gosnold has saved my life. I'm very grateful to be here."
Prior to moving in to Gosnold Apartments in 2008, Ted slept in a tent for more than a year and suffered constant pain
due to a back injury he received while working in 2001. With the help of the support services staff at Gosnold, Ted has
applied for Social Security Disability Income, Food Stamps, and Medicaid.
Stories of Hope: Virginia Supportive Housing
"Stories of Hope" is a documentary film that captures how Virginia Supportive Housing is working to end homelessness in Virginia by transforming lives and communities.
It's an emotional piece filled with the stories of formerly homeless persons who now have stable incomes and housing thanks to the work of VSH.
The 14-minute film was created for use in presentations about the group. It's long, but is so engaging that it goes by in the blink of an eye. If you don't have time to watch the full-length film, a 6-minute web version is ready to view.
Special thanks to Elevation and SpangTV for producing the film.
